Health before hair!..But keep your hair looking fab. Here is one technique to maintain straight hair after working out without using heat. I’m going to try different techniques to figure out what works best for my hair.
I’ve been doing the Vixen Workout, which is a high cardio workout based on dance moves. Essentially, it’s an hour long Beyonce video with a touch of Nicky Minaj (via the sporadic twerking). The class is for women only and the dance studio turns the lights down, so you can dance without feeling watched. I first did this class a couple years ago and almost passed out from the intensity (well not quite, but it was intense).
In the past, I’ve done other workouts including ballet class, tennis and horseback riding. The latter is my favorite but it’s been hard to find a local stable with covered arena, so I can ride at night.
